Beckham turns 2 (part 2)

On Beckham's actual birthday we celebrated as a family by going to Little Man's ice cream and a Rockies game! We had a blast and beckham loves the mascot singer. It was a gorgeous night but it unfortunately started raining at 9pm so the fire work show got canceled.

Beckham is such a wonderful boy. He has a special gift of making people feel loved. He is high energy and very physical. He thinks everyone wants to wrestle :/ he loves doing happy feet and to dance. He is definitely the life of the party. He loves his brother and wants to make sure he is included in everything. Happy birthday to our Beckham!

Beckham turns 2 (part 1)

So we started off the birthday celebrations on the 4th of July since all my family was going to be together. The Scott Family (mainly Keke) decorated the house to be construction themed- they did such a good job. When Beckham walked into the house he pointed and gasped "guck! guck!" (which means truck). He loved it!!!!!!

 Wyatt made Beck's cake this year. It was a construction site. I thought he did a great job and Beckham wanted to pull the cars off of the cake so badly!!!!!!

I think Beckham's favorite part was when everyone sang to him! He just smiled so big and was glowing! He also was trying to blow out the candle with his baby blowing! haha I don't know where he learned that because I totally forgot to have him practice blowing out the candle! He loved all his presents and spent the entire next day playing with all his dinos!

4th of July

We decided to celebrate the 4th of July with my family at the Commons Park in Broomfield. We have celebrated there as long as I can remember! This year we had a fun time playing spike ball, listening to music and twirling our glow sticks! Beckham really liked the fireworks that we could see in the distance, but the ones that were uncles he got a little scared and said "Nonnie! Nonnie!" So Nonnie came over and held him in her lap!

4th of July camping

We had a fun-filled 4th of July weekend! It all started off with camping at Cherry Creek Reservoir. We had a lot of fun with Andrew, Jen and Graham & Nonnie and Poppie! Beckham loved the freedom to run around and play in the dirt! He also loved the tent and to go "night night." Dax slept most of the time. We ate very well-we made tin foil dinners, cherry cobbler and monkey bread in the dutch oven, roasted marshmallows & starbursts, and of course Poppies big breakfast! We definitely will have many more camping adventures in the future!

June 2015

Newest Obsession- FORTS
Beckham has been obsessed lately with pretending to go "night night" and building forts. Almost every morning he comes into my room, sees that the baby is asleep and brings all his bedding and stuff animals to build a fort on the other side of the bed. Dax on one side of the bed and Beckham on the other!
