Life After the Wedding

So, I have learned there is life after the wedding... When you are planning a wedding everything revolves around the wedding and all the things you have to do BEFORE the wedding. Life after the wedding doesn't really exist. Well I have discovered there is life AFTER (and its a pretty good life too :0) ...) So here are a few pictures of things we have been up to since we have been married (we have now been married 2 months and 27 days).

I got an internship at the VA Hospital!!!! 

Wyatt has been busy with 3 summer classes, work, research, and interpretation at the hospital!

Friday Night Date Nights... so far we have eaten out at new little restaurants... played miniature golf... camping... shopping (Wyatt does a great job planning the dates!)

 Our new favorite meal to make... HOMEMADE PIZZA. Wyatt loves to toss the pizza way high in the air and try to catch it. We have had fun making different foods.

We have also had fun venturing out and soaking in the sun by going on hikes, camping, laying out, and kayaking!

We have loved celebrating the holidays... for 4th of July we climbed up a random grassy hillside, high enough, so that we could see the Stadium of Fire fireworks!

We have had so much fun and we are excited for the future events ahead of us!

Honeymoon in Puerto Vallarta

Here are some pictures of our honeymoon in puerto. The weather was perfect and it was fun to speak spanish!

This is on our way to the airport... don't we look like 15 year olds!? Ya we got some funny looks after we told people we were on our honeymoon. Well hopefully our baby faces pay off when we are old?

Our hotel! It was the most colorful place in Puerto! It was perfect, right when we got into Puerto I went straight to the beach... and Wyatt...

...went straight to the drinks! I don't know HOW MANY strawberry/mango dakaries Wyatt had... everyone looked at us like we were CRAZY when we said "sin alcohol". 

                           We did really fun things... we went boogie boarding and sea kayaking.

And of course lots of sunbathing and reading.... (I thoroughly enjoyed the Mexcian coke, there really is nothing like it)

And we were able to go on the Zip line in the forest (thanks Lauren for the suggestion)

                                    And we waited for the ghetto bus to go explore in the city.

We even managed to go to church on our honeymoon (gotta love the RMness in us) it was so fun to catch random buses and walk around asking everyone we could see where the mormon church was it brought back so many memories of the mission... and it was fun to speak to the members in spanish. 

We ate and ate and ate and ate lots of food...

and Wyatt even danced for everyone on the boat (that was for sure my highlight of the trip).

It really was paradise in a week!!
