November

November was a wonderful month full of family and fun festivities!

To top the charts Andrew and Jen got married! It was a gorgeous day, bright blue skies, and could not have been more perfect!

While we had family visiting we made sure we had lots of fun that week with swimming, "Early Christmas", Denver Nuggets game and park time!

Later that month we were so lucky to have even MORE family come out. We had the Scott Family rode trip from CA, Grammy and Poppa flew in  from Oregon, Loranger Family came from San Fran, Kristin flew in from New Zealand, Robby came from Sweden and Ryan!

Kate and Rob announced that they were expecting which was such exciting news! We cannot wait to meet baby boy Loranger!!

We did a Turkey Trot in the morning and ate all afternoon! Grammy made a very moist turkey and there were awesome side dishes and desserts too!

Beckham loved being with his cousins all month long!!!

It has been so amazing living by family! We feel so blessed that we are able to be so close to both sides of the family! There are several perks of living by family...

1. We get to spend time with them!!

2. We have free baby sitters so we can have fun on dates, snowboarding etc

3. We get hooked up with AWESOME sports tickets (thanks Mom!)... we have gone to a Bronco game, Colorado Rapids game, Avs game and soon to a Nuggets game!

Up-to-date

Well I can't believe that I can say after this post is through I am all up-to-date!! Wahoo!

Here is a collage of things we have been up to lately....

Updates:

Apartment-
First off I can say we have LOVED our apartment. We have nothing to complain about and have absolutely loved living on campus. Wyatt comes home everyday for lunch and it takes him exactly 7 minutes to walk from inside our apartment to inside his classroom. What a blessing it is to live to close. Pictures of the apartment to come.

Wyatt/Dental School-
Wyatt has been doing AWESOME in dental school so far. He has aced all of his tests (he has had 4 in 4 weeks) and has met some wonderful people. He has really gone out of his comfort zone and been really out going. He says he has talked to every single person in his class (there are 80 in his class). I am really proud of him and his ability to stay so focused on school but also stay so balanced. I honestly feel like he is home more then he was at BYU! Wyatt said that BYU has prepared him well and he has not gotten too stressed out so far. Wyatt joined the D1 flag football team and is really enjoying playing football on Saturdays. I am so proud of Wyatt and could not ask for a more supportive, loving, caring, selfless husband. I am so lucky to have him. He has been so busy with school but always takes time to make sure that I am doing well and am rested/happy.

Brooke-
I am doing great! I love having my own apartment and getting into a routine. Beck and I have a great routine down but not yet a schedule. I still feed him on demand but generally speaking he eats every 3 hours with longer chunks at night! Wahoo!! I started doing P90x in the mornings with Wyatt which has been so awesome! I hope to shred some of this baby fat soon. I am in the awkward stage of being too small for my maternity clothes yet too big for my normal clothes.... I have made some good friends in the ward and with other dental student wives. Beck and I have gone on some more adventures and I can't wait to take him on more adventures.

Beckham-
Beck had his 2 month appointment yesterday. He weighs 12 lbs 9 oz!! Which means he has gained about an oz a day which is really good. He is 23 inches long which puts him pretty proportionate and in the 50 percentile. The doctor was a little surprised about how big Beck's head- I told her that he comes from a family of big heads- Wyatt, Bryce, Blake, Kim, and Floyd the 3rd all have "jug" heads... the doctor must have wanted to confirm that knowledge because she actually measured Wyatt's and said "oh yeah, you do have a big head!" Other then that he is super healthy. Lately (as in the past 2 weeks) Beck has only been getting up ONCE in the middle of the night! Wahoo!! I feed him around 8pm-9pm and then not again until 3 am or so and then he wakes up between 7am-8am. Its amazing!!! I still have been waking up at 5 am to do P90x (don't you fret I go to bed very early) but it is amazing to get a 5 hour chunk of sleep! Beck has been cooing and smiling a lot more lately. It is so fun to be his mom and watch him grow so much!!

Beckham's Blessing

Sunday August 11th we had Beck's baby blessing. Wyatt gave a wonderful blessing naming our child Beckham Wyatt Sessions. We were lucky to have all our family there (well almost everyone). Turner and Blake even drove through the night from their 16 day rafting trip to be there! It meant a lot to have all the support that we did! I am so grateful to have the priesthood in our family and the support and love of my husband. Here are some things that I remembered from the blessing.

Beck was
*blessed to be healthy and strong
*blessed to be an example to his siblings and friends
*blessed his body
*blessed to recognize the truth and live it
*blessed to marry in the temple
*blessed to find love and happiness in his family

August

August finally arrived-this is the month that Wyatt and I had been anticipating for a very long time for a few reasons,
1st: WYATT WAS STARTING DENTAL SCHOOL
2nd: Moving
3rd: Siblings come to town

...and it all happened on the SAME DAY. August 5th was the day of all days. We were so blessed but it was a crazy day.

We are so grateful that my mom, dad, and Bryce 100% moved us in to our new apartment (which we LOVE so much its right on campus). They loaded, carried, and unloaded everything! I was honestly so helpful and we could not have done with without them!!

That evening everyone flew into town!! Beck enjoyed meeting all of his family!

Ryan's step-mom is a great photographer and was nice enough to come down to Broomfield to take family photos! Beck did a great job in the photos and only spit up/got fussy at the very end!

To finish the week Mallory got married! We loved their low key but very nice wedding and reception. They had super fun lawn games to play and delicious food! Congrats Mallory and Geoff! Wish you guys lived closer so we could hang out! Beckham was able to meet all of Wyatt's side of the family!
