Croup

So two days after Dax came home from the hospital we noticed that Beckham didn't seem to feel well. We especially noticed that he has a nasty cough that sounded like a bark. It seemed like his throat hurt too and he had goopy eyes.... Luckily we were able to get him into his doctor (you can see how miserable this poor dude was) and the second they heard him the nurses said "oh thats croup!" The doctor saw Beck and indeed he had croup. He got the steroid shot and she was very nervous especially having a 3 year old baby at home. So thanks to my amazing mom and Sister Steph Beckham was shipped off to grandma's! I felt sooooooo bad that I couldn't take care of him or be with him when he was so miserable. It broke my heart seeing him like this, especially since this was the first time Beckham has ever really been sick. He was pretty miserable for 3 days and then started to get better. One of the nights he slept over at grandmas he was totally miserable. All he wanted to do was cuddle his Aunt Stephie (who was 35 weeks preggo at the time), but not only cuddle her but to totally koala bear her tummy. She said they slept like that the entire night! This boy sure is lucky to have amazing aunties! It definitely took a full week for him to recover! Steph said she knew he was bad because he only did happy feet like once in the two days he was at their house! So glad we have our Beckham back and he can actually touch his new baby brother!
